In Friends Lower School, students learn to explore opportunities, take healthy risks and master essential skills in an environment that both nurtures and challenges them. The strong academic program gives the support students need to learn and succeed. Quaker principles are at the heart of Friends School and guide the Pre-K through Grade Five educational program.

In the Lower School, our students build the solid educational and emotional foundation that will underlie a lifetime of learning, thinking, creating, and caring. It is a place where each child is supported as she or he discovers the power of the mind and the exciting opportunities the world holds for us all.
