Baltimore, MD—Join Friends School alumni, families, faculty and staff on Saturday, May 21, 4-7 p.m., at Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center (“Tom’s farm”), 1717 Rayville Rd., Parkton, MD, for the Thomas P. LaMonica '67 Scholarship Barbeque. Featuring a grilled feast prepared by our own Milt Brownstein ’68, beverages by The Wine Source, and live music by Larry Smith ’83 and his band “Release,” the event is a fundraiser to benefit the Thomas P. LaMonica '67 Scholarship Fund. Tickets are $40 adults/$20 children 12-18. (Children under age 12 attend free). RSVP by Saturday, May 14, 2011 to alangrehr@friendsbalt.org. Established by the Class of 2011 and their families, and supported by many alumni and friends, the scholarship in Tom’s name will provide financial aid for a Friends student-athlete for years to come.
