Bring the family! Thomas P. LaMonica '67 Scholarship Barbeque Set for May 21

Baltimore, MD—Join Friends School alumni, families, faculty and staff on Saturday, May 21, 4-7 p.m., at Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center (“Tom’s farm”), 1717 Rayville Rd., Parkton, MD, for the Thomas P. LaMonica '67 Scholarship Barbeque. Featuring a grilled feast prepared by our own Milt Brownstein ’68, beverages by The Wine Source, and live music by Larry Smith ’83 and his band “Release,” the event is a fundraiser to benefit the Thomas P. LaMonica '67 Scholarship Fund. Tickets are $40 adults/$20 children 12-18. (Children under age 12 attend free). RSVP by Saturday, May 14, 2011 to alangrehr@friendsbalt.org. Please make checks payable to Friends School; note “LaMonica Scholarship” in the memo line. Use the attached reply card to order tickets or make donations.

Established by the Class of 2011 and their families, and supported by many alumni and friends, the scholarship in Tom’s name will provide financial aid for a Friends student-athlete for years to come.
