Varsity Field Hockey Falls to Mercy, 1-0

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 19, 2011

Baltimore, MD—The Varsity Field Hockey team on Friday lost to Mercy, 1-0. The Quakes outshot the Magic, but couldn’t find the goal.  Olivia Reed ’13 and Lynne Cullen ’15 were aggressive within the midfield offense, while Ana Garcia-Morena ’13 and Abeni Hinds ’14 held down the defensive end.  The Quakes hope to bounce back this Wednesday at 5 pm on the home turf against another strong conference opponent, Seton Keough. Come out and support the team.
