Friends School of Baltimore

Overview

Middle and Upper School Options

Students in the Middle and Upper Schools may choose to buy food in the cafeteria or bring their lunch.

Parents may deposit money in their child's account so that their child does not need to bring lunch money each day. To do so, parents must complete the Account Form and submit it to the Business Office with the money to be deposited.

Lower School Options

Grades PK-P1

Students in grades PK-P1 bring their lunch to school. The Lower School offers a Milk Program where milk is provided at lunch. Additionally, the Parents Association runs a Pizza Day where students receive one or two pieces of pizza, a beverage, carrot and celery sticks, and a cookie. Pizza Day occurs on most Wednesdays and is designed to give parents a break from preparing lunch.

Both the Milk Program and Pizza Day are available for an extra fee. To participate, parents needed to indicate it during the online Back to School forms. The cost is billed to your child's account.

Grades 1-5

All students in grades 1-5 will now eat lunch in the Dining Hall. Students in grades 1 through 5 have the option to pre-purchase meals online or continue to pack a lunch. The next month's menu/form will be available on the 15th of the current month.

Parents need to open or replenish a declining balance dining hall account for their child(ren). To do so, parents must complete the Account Form and submit it to the Business Office with the money to be deposited.
