Alum Jonathan Ellwanger '22 Cast in New Opera, "Silent Light," at Eastman School of Music
Alum Jonathan Ellwanger '22, a junior at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, was recently cast in the role of Zaccarias in the new opera "Silent Light" by Paola Prestini, which will have its premiere at Eastman next month. Jonathan, a tenor, was selected for the opening night cast, which is made up of mostly graduate students. A former student of Michael McVey, Jonathan is now studying with tenor Anthony Dean Griffey at Eastman. Way to go, Jonathan!
