March marks National Athletic Training Appreciation Month, and throughout the IAAM, athletic programs have been putting a spotlight on the phenomenal athletic trainers who provide the care and attention that ensure student-athletes are competing at their highest level.
“Whether it’s keeping our athletes healthy, helping them recover from injuries, or simply being a trusted presence on the sidelines, Liz Vaught and Gina Misuraca are mentors, encouragers, and an essential part of our school community,” praised Kara Carlin, Director of Athletics at Friends School. “Beyond their medical expertise, Liz and Gina are the heart of our athletic program. Their dedication and unwavering support make an incredible impact on our student-athletes every single day.”
