Friends School's Softball Program Celebrates Major Milestone with New On-Campus Home Field

We are thrilled to announce a major milestone for our softball program! For the first time in recent history, our teams will have a dedicated home field on our campus.

In 2020, Friends installed a baseball field and has proudly hosted games on campus for the past six years. The atmosphere, energy, and community enthusiasm have been unparalleled. Building on that momentum, this new softball field marks a significant step forward for our athletics program and our community as a whole.

This investment has been a long time coming. After years of renting fields at Medfield Elementary and the YMCA on 33rd Street, our four-time softball champions (2004, 2005, 2018, and 2021) will finally have a place to call their own.

We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes and grateful to everyone who helped make this vision a reality. We look forward to hosting our first games on the new field and cheering on the Quakes from the stands, at home, where they belong!
