Head of School Christian Donovan comes to Friends School with an extensive enrollment management background. Christian previously served as the Assistant Head of School & Director of Strategic Research at Head-Royce School in Oakland, C.A., following seven years as the school’s Director of Enrollment Management. Prior to joining Head-Royce, he served as Director of Admission and Enrollment Management at his alma mater George School, a Quaker school in Newton, P.A.; and in college counseling and admissions roles at the Athenian School in California. He is nationally acclaimed for his enrollment management work.

Christian recently co-authored a blog entry for the Association of Independent School Admission Professionals (AISAP) with Nastaran Hakimi, the Director of Enrollment Management and Institutional Advancement at Boston University Academy. The entry, "We Get by with a Little Help from Our Friends" explains how important it is for admission professionals to surround themselves with a support team and the key players that should be a part of that team.

AISAP is an association of over 3,000 enrollment management professionals who are willing to share experiences and insights in all aspects of independent school and private school admission and enrollment management.
