There are two individual written rounds of problems at the outset of the competition to decide which 37 out of 120 mathletes will be invited to the State Competition on Saturday, March 14. Theo C. '30 and Rory R. '30 tied for 16th place, and Sam H. '31 earned seventh place, advancing all three to the State Competition. Sam H. '31 also qualified to compete and earned fourth place in the countdown round, where mathletes compete head-to-head to answer questions as quickly as possible.

Theo C. '30, Rory R. '30, Maddie H. '30, and Sam H. '31 comprised Friends School's four-person team for the team round of competition. Out of 15 teams, they finished third and will advance as a team to the Maryland State Competition as well.
