Friends School Students Named National Merit Finalists

Friends School Students Named National Merit Finalists

Three students have been named Finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program, one of the nation’s most prestigious academic honors for high school students.

The recognition places Aiden Y. ’26, Theodore (Teddy) B. ’26, and Neil C. ’26 among the top-performing students in the United States based on their exceptional scores on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Each year, more than one million high school juniors take the exam, and only about 1% advance to Finalist standing.

To become Finalists, students must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, submit a detailed scholarship application, and earn strong recommendations from their schools.

National Merit Finalists are now eligible to compete for National Merit Scholarships, which will be announced later this spring.

Congratulations Aiden, Teddy, and Neil!
