Vote for Friends School's "Snow Globe for Good," at Cross Keys, Support our Community Partner GEDCO CARES

Again this year, Friends School of Baltimore is one of 14 area schools joining in a creative collaboration, “Gifting Back to Baltimore,” with The Village of Cross Keys to support local nonprofits. The theme this year is, “Snow Globes for Good,” and, under Upper School Art Teacher Sean Tonkin’s guidance, our Upper School artists have designed and decorated a giant snow globe, which is now on display at The Village of Cross Keys!

The snow globes are on display throughout Cross Keys from Wednesday, November 19 through Wednesday, December 31, and we need YOUR vote.

Stop by The Village of Cross Keys or vote online to cast your vote for Friends School. To view pictures of our snow globe, head over to our Instagram account @friendsbalt or our Facebook page.

Based on votes, Cross Keys will donate $5,000 to the first-place winner’s chosen charity, $2,500 to second place, $1,000 to third, and $500 to all others. Voting for our snow globe will directly support GEDCO CARES, a nonprofit that serves families and individuals in crisis by connecting clients with resources that enable movement toward self-sufficiency. These resources include employment, food, and emergency financial assistance services.

The Village of Cross Keys is located at 5100 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21210. We hope that our whole community will vote to support GEDCO CARES and/or stop by Cross Keys to admire the beautiful work of our students!
