Summer at Friends
2022 Summer Camp Information
We are excited for Summer 2022! Our families and campers appreciated the changes we made last year, and this summer’s programs will look similar: small group sizes, 4 or 8 week sessions, modified schedules and activities, and limited offerings to allow for physical distancing and group cohorting. Campers can look forward to a summer of fun!
Our new online Camp Portal will streamline the application process and make it easy and convenient to enroll! We anticipate many programs will sell out again this summer. Register early to guarantee your child’s space!
Staff and CIT applications are now available. Visit the Staff Portal to apply. All applications will be online this year.
The Camp Office is open year-round. To contact us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 410-649-3218.
Enhanced Safety Protocols
Summer at Friends will be following the safety protocols that Friends School has had in place during this school year: cleaning of high-touch points throughout the day and nightly housekeeping in all spaces used by campers. Our nurse is on campus or on-call daily.
Our Communicable Disease Action Plan includes symptom-monitoring, staff training to observe and report symptoms and signs of illnesses, and an isolation area for campers or staff showing any signs of illness.
We have a Community Code of Conduct for Campers and Staff to help prevent illness on and off campus. We will be following CDC Travel During COVID-19 guidance regarding camper and family travel.
Currently, masks are optional for all children and adults while on campus. We will be following CDC COVID-19 Community Level guidance regarding masking.
COVID-19 Safety Protocols are subject to change at any time. Camper and staff safety is our priority. Changes in federal, state and local regulations, restrictions, and guidelines may cause us to update our safety protocols, or to cancel or alter any program, schedule, or activity at any time. We follow current Friends School, CDC, Maryland, and Baltimore City Health Department/Government regulations, restrictions, and guidelines. Any updates will be published here.

Experience the Quaker Dimension
In accordance with the Quaker philosophy of Friends School, our program strives to instill feelings of self-worth and confidence in every camper and to encourage respect, cooperation and consideration of others. We celebrate diversity and believe in the unique worth of each individual.
All programs are open to non-Friends School students.
