Virtual Artists


Ages 6 to 13

Explore a mix of mediums with digital and physical art projects! Using household supplies and online tools, children will be creating artistic masterpieces to display at home! With fun new techniques and concepts to approach drawing, painting, crafting, and more, children will want to set up their own art studio by the end of this program!

This program is offered for both Virtual Sessions A and B. You may sign up for one or both sessions!

Music & Movement


Ages 6 to 9

Get ready for a groovy time of singing, dancing, and fun games! Join our teachers and friends in an active program of music-based games and rhythmic activities that will keep young musicians entertained and on their feet! Children will enjoy hands on lessons in musical concepts (loud/soft, high/low, fast/slow), creating music, musical expression, rhythm patterns and games! Plus, movement activities that will engage your child’s gross motor and problem solving skills!

This program is offered in Virtual Session A.

Explore: Science


Ages 6 to 9

Our science teachers are bringing some of their favorite experiments to you online! Learn new science facts and techniques through digital demonstrations and hands-on activities. Children will explore nature and the scientific method. It’s the perfect way to end your afternoons at home! 

This program is offered in Virtual Session B.

Virtual Summer Program Information

  • A minimum of 5 participants is required in order to operate each class
  • All classes are approximately one-hour and meet Monday-Friday each week (except Monday, July 5)
  • All classes are conducted on the Zoom platform and require internet access
  • Classes are live and start promptly at the designated time
  • Parental supervision is required during each class
  • There will be two or more staff members facilitating each class
  • Most classes will require basic supplies you may already have at home (No materials are included in the class fee.)
  • A specific list of supplies/materials will be sent to participants prior to the start of the program
  • If a specific software or specific equipment is required for a class, that information is listed in the class description
  • Participants/parents are expected to follow the Virtual Program Code of Conduct during each class
  • The fee for each class is $200 per four-week session
  • Change Policy: Requests for changes must be emailed to summercamp@friendsbalt.org prior to the Change Deadline (Friday, June 11 for Virtual Session A, and Friday, July 9 for Virtual Session B.) Virtual Summer Program Fees are non-refundable.  However, you may change to another available program prior to the Change Deadline.

  • Additional virtual options may be offered. 


To register: complete the Enrollment Application, and select the Virtual Program(s) of your choice. If you are registering for an on campus program as well, you may do so on the same form, but please ensure that there are no conflicts. The application contains the Virtual Programs Code of Conduct, and other information. Please read all information carefully.
