Student Life

2019 Scarlet and Gray Day

Our students thrive in a culture of participation. Friends' vibrant culture of clubs, activities, and organizations, allow for students to share their diverse talents and interests with like-minded peers. Students may choose from a wide array of co-curricular offerings, across all divisions. Through their experiences on the playing fields and stages, in the studios and through their clubs and activities, students discover their passions.

Community Service

From local service learning projects to global classroom collaborations, Friends students are empowered to engage with the world beyond our campus in their quest for knowledge and their desire to make a difference. Students approach pressing social issues with curiosity and an open heart. Classroom explorations often inspire service clubs, where all work together to affect positive change.

Clubs

With the support and guidance of faculty advisors, students plan and implement activities for their organizations, developing leadership skills and friendships. Middle and Upper School students also have the freedom to start their own clubs and explore an area of interest to them currently not offered at Friends.
