First Look @ Friends

During these open house events, you will hear from faculty and administrators about our curriculum and culture, tour our campus and classrooms, and engage with a student panel to learn more about why we love Friends. Each event will take place between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Click on the dates below to register.

Wednesday Campus Tours

We invite you to see our campus in action! Please join us for a one-hour divisional tour. All tours start at 10:00 a.m. from the Office of Admission.
Advance registration is recommended, however, walk-ins are welcome.*

Binoculars, Birds, and Bugs at Friends

October 26, 2024, 10:00–11:45 a.m.

Calling all nature explorers! Prospective Lower School families are invited to join us for a fun-filled morning at Friends School to explore our native gardens. Meet with our Lower School science teacher to search for insects and identify plants and flowers (binoculars included), and create some unique nature art with our Lower School art teacher to take home! This event is for prospective Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade families only.

In The Middle @ Friends

November 9, 2024, 10:00–11:30 a.m.

Prospective families are invited to join Friends School of Baltimore’s Middle School faculty for a super fun and interactive morning of STEAM experiments, design projects, and sweet fall treats. Come see how YOU can put your voice to work in our classrooms and beyond!

This event is reserved for prospective students currently in Grades 5-7 and their families only.

Real Talk @ Friends

November 19, 2024, 6:00–8:00 p.m.

Real Talk @ Friends is an evening for prospective BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) families to engage in conversation and refreshments with current BIPOC students, parents, faculty, and alumni of Friends.  The program will include a brief student panel moderated by an alum, as well as allow time for prospective families to speak directly with members of our community about their experiences at Friends.

Visit Days for Applicants

All prospective students for grades 2-12 can schedule a student Shadow Day and Parent/Caregiver Interview. These steps are required for applicants. Once you have an online account you will be able to schedule the shadow day and parent/caregiver interview. If you are scheduling more than one child, need to reschedule a visit, or prefer to schedule by phone, please call the Admission Office at 410-649-3308.
