Alumni Volunteer Opportunities

Alumni Association Board
Serves as a member of the Alumni Association Board and represents the greater Friends School alumni population. Attends Board meetings and supports association and School-related events and activities (three-year term).

Class Secretary
Compiles Class Notes, Milestones and photos for Friends Magazine. We are currently looking for secretaries for the following classes: 1953, 1954, 1957, 1965, 1966, 1971, 2013 and 2017.

Class Agent
Contacts classmates on behalf of the School to encourge alumni giving and class participation.

Reunion Committee Volunteer
During Reunion year, participates in a committee along with classmates to support engagement, outreach, event planning and/or fundraising efforts.

Phonathon Volunteer
Participates in phonathons, which could include calls, e-mails or texts to classmates and other alumni to encourage annual giving support.

Career Mentor, Internship/Senior Work Project Host
Willing to discuss your profession with felow alumni and/or current students. AND/OR willing to host alumni and/or current students for internships and spring Senior Work Projects.

Athletic Hall of Fame Committee
Serves as a member of the selection committee for the Friends School Athletic Hall of Fame. Attends meetings, reviews nominations and participates in the annual Athletic Hall of Fame Induction & Celebration at Alumni Weekend. Click here for more information.

Alumni Regional Event Host
Offers home or business as a site for a reception, dinner or other gathering for alumni living in that area.

Classroom/School Volunteer
Friends alumni are always welcome to volunteer at Friends in the classroom, on the field, in the library, to speak at Collection and more.
