Class Reunion Gift Effort
When we joined Friends School as students in the ’60s and ’70s, it stood out from its peer institutions because of its commitment to diversity and inclusion, stemming from its founding values. Fifty years after graduating, we can share with pride that our school remains dedicated to enrolling and serving a student body that embodies diversity in all its forms. Forty-six percent (46%) of today’s Friends students identify as people of color, and families come from a variety of socioeconomic, religious, and cultural backgrounds.

As alumni, we can help sustain the diversity of the student body and ensure that the Friends School we know and love is the same one experienced by today’s students. This is why we are setting a goal of raising $100,000 from the Class of 1974 for The Fund for Friends in honor of financial assistance. We are thrilled to share that we’ve already raised nearly $75,000 from a small group of classmates! Now, we need you to help us reach the finish line. We ask you to reflect on the ways in which your Friends education was meaningful to our class and to help us sustain all that Friends has offered its students for the past 240 years. In honor of our 50th reunion, we hope that you will consider contributing to our gift effort.

Make your gift today at alumni.friendsbalt.org/giving. Checks, gifts from donor-advised funds and newly established planned gifts also count towards our reunion class gift.
