Lower School
Through a vibrant physical education program, our Lower School students tumble, run, jump rope, hula-hoop, dance, and learn the proper mechanics of gross motor skills, like throwing, kicking, and striking. Then they combine their skills in cooperative games where they dodge, duck, and chase classmates until they're panting, laughing, and wholly unaware of how fit they're becoming. Before being introduced to formal after-school athletics, students learn basic building blocks of skills and fitness in a safe, encouraging environment.
