2022 Scarlet & Gray Day
Scarlet & Gray Day is Saturday, October 22, 2022. Come out and show your Friends School spirit! The School, Athletic Department, and the Parents Association all come together to provide a great day for the whole Friends community! Bring your family to cheer on our athletic teams and enjoy the carnival, field games, live music, and great food! Rain or shine, it’s a Friends School tradition you don’t want to miss!

Many parent volunteers are needed to make this day a great success. Click on the “Volunteer for Scarlet & Gray Day” button to sign up. The first 10 volunteers to sign up will receive a complimentary Scarlet & Gray shirt and 10 free carnival tickets.

Family Carnival
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Tickets will be on sale for $1 each (or 25 for $20).
Community members of all ages will love the carnival sponsored by the Parents Association. Featuring games, a moon bounce, crafts for kids of all ages, and more.
Live Music
11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Friends School students perform live music of all genres. Featuring on-campus groups (music groups and schedule to be announced).
Student Fundraising
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Come out and support the 5th-grade bake sale and the 8th-grade lemon stick sale, as well as Upper School student-run clubs and programs such as Habitat for Humanity, Soccer without Borders, and many more!
The Boys & Girls Basketball Teams are raising money to pay for our new Shooting Machine with a Basketball Shot Carnival Game! Come stop by the basketball courts by the Middle School Front Lawn and shoot for a chance to win 2 Tickets to the Ravens vs Falcons Game on December 24th!! $10 = 1 Ticket. 1 Ticket = 1 Shot! If you purchase a ticket and take a shot, you will automatically get 1 entry into our Ravens Tickets drawing. If you make the shot you will get 3 entries! You can buy as many tickets as you want, as it will only increase your entries and raise your chances of seeing the Ravens!!

Spirit Gear Giveaway
The Friends School Parents Association will give out free spirit gear to all students for the Pep Rally on Friday, October 21 and Scarlet & Gray Day on October 22. Wear your shirts to show your great school spirit! We Are Quaker Nation!
Food and Drinks
Snack Shack: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Brock Catering: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Kona Ice: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Water stations will be available at multiple locations on campus. Bring your own reusable water bottle to fill up and stay hydrated! Reusable cups will be available for purchase from the Parents Association or purchase a new Friends School water bottle from the Quaker Closet.
Parking
All campus guests may park in any available space on campus or in the Lawndale parking lot next to the Roland Park Pool (directions below). Parking is first come, first served.
WEATHER NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, please watch for areas of flooding in the Lawndale parking lot and along Stony Run Creek. Please obey signs and traffic cones if flooding occurs.
DIRECTIONS to LAWNDALE: The Lawndale parking lot is located off of Wyndhurst Avenue. Turn onto Lawndale and follow the road back toward the swimming pool. There is a path along the swimming pool that leads directly onto the Friends School athletic fields.
