What is Senior Family Gift for the Class of 2026?
As Friends School’s only indoor space large enough to gather every student, faculty, and staff member, the Old Gym (built in 1937) plays a central role in daily life on campus. Serving as a home base for physical education classes for all grades PK-12, All-School Convocations and assemblies, Middle and Upper School athletic competitions, and multiple orchestral and music performances each year, the Old Gym truly encapsulates the student experience.
The parent/caregiver steering committee of The Class of 2026 Senior Family Gift Effort has chosen to help FSB make a long-time dream come true! Through this year’s fundraising, they hope to be able to provide a state-of- the-art multimedia A/V system, one that replaces the current antiquated setup and transforms this historic space into a welcoming, multifunctional, modern assembly space. This “jumbotron” system will function as both a high-quality video screen with enhanced audio and a modern scoreboard, connecting with audiences in powerful, unforgettable ways.
