Noah Gainsburg '19 awarded prestigious 'Youth Service Award'
Recent alum, Noah Gainsburg '19, was one of 10 individuals to receive a Youth Service Award from the Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism. The inaugural ceremony was held in Annapolis, MD to highlight the "significant community service" of 10 individuals and three groups. According to a press release issued by the Governor's Office, more than 100 applications were received and only 13 awardees were selected after a competitive review process by a panel of distinguished community leaders and state representatives in charge of volunteer programs across Maryland.
Noah, who was recognized for his community service work at the St. Francis Neighborhood Center in Reservoir Hill, was also acknowledged as "Volunteer of the Year" in February and highlighted in the May edition of Baltimore Magazine. The Friends School of Baltimore community congratulates Noah on his incredible accomplishments this year!
