Figments by Billy St John is the story of Rick Jacobs, a prolific playwright with a wild imagination, a domineering mother, a woman he loves - who is dating another man, and a massive case of writer’s block! As he attempts to overcome his writer's block; his thoughts bounce between his troubled love life and his play. The audience sees the various figments of Rick’s imagination, revealing the troubles on his mind and how those troubles meld into his play. As real people and the figments of Rick’s imagination clash, Rick quickly learns that he must fix his real-life relationships to finish his play.
