A.J. Pruitt ’14 awarded national scholarship

Friends Alum named a George Mitchell Scholar
Friends alum, A.J. Pruitt ’14, is one of twelve students nationally to be awarded a George Mitchell Scholarship. The George J. Mitchell Scholarship Program—named in honor of former United States Senator, George Mitchell— is described as a national, competitive scholarship sponsored by the US-Ireland Alliance that seeks to connect future generations of American leaders to Ireland. 

Pruitt, who currently works as Chief of Staff in the Maryland House Judiciary, plans to pursue a master’s degree in comparative criminology and criminal justice at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth.
