New Boys Soccer Coach and Program Coordinator hired
New Boys Varsity Soccer Coach and Program Coordinator Announced A new era for the program starts.
Baltimore, January 29, 2020: The Friends School of Baltimore Athletic Department announced today they have hired a new coach to lead the Boys Varsity Soccer Program. Tyler Wilhelm was named the Program Coordinator and Varsity Head Soccer Coach. Tyler served the last 2 years as the Head JV Soccer coach winning the JV Championship in both seasons, including an undefeated 2019 campaign.
A graduate of McDaniel College, Tyler has been coaching Soccer for over 10 years. Before joining Friends as the JV coach, Tyler coached for the Pipeline Soccer Club since 2009, Tyler has served as the assistant goalkeeper coach, as well as the head coach for several teams, which he still does to this day. Tyler is also the Founder of Wilhelm Strength and Conditioning. He is certified by the AFPA Certified Personal Trainer, the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and US Soccer National Coaching. We congratulate Tyler is his new role and are very happy he will remain in the Quaker family.
