FSB Black Lives Matters Club to hold Vigil for Breonna Taylor on 10/2
The Upper School Black Lives Matter Club will host a Vigil for Breonna Taylor from 6:00-7:30pm on Friday, October 2 on Deering Field. More information is available below:
"Following the unjust indictment of Bryan Hankison, we think it is important to hold a space for students and faculty to gather and reflect.
In order to attend, you must have completed and be prepared to show the Safety App Questionnaire and temperatures will be checked. There will be a poster of Breonna Taylor at the gate to the turf field where people can drop off flowers & cards.
The Vigil itself will be from 6:30pm - 7pm on the turf, socially distanced and with masks. We will spend this 30 minutes in silence, but people who feel moved to share any thoughts are welcome to do so. The 30 minutes before and after the vigil are times for people to pay their respects at the impromptu memorial to Breonna Taylor at the gate to the turf." - From the BLM Club
