A hub for the visual arts at Friends
Established in 2010 in honor of Joseph “Jay” Katz ’45, a former trustee who with his wife, Barbara, established a fund in support of the school’s studio art program, The Katz gallery showcases the works of Friends students, alumni, and visiting artists. Located adjacent to the newly renovated arts classrooms in the Forbush Building, the Katz Gallery is designed to raise the community’s consciousness about art and its place in our lives.
The gallery supports and fosters a learning environment that best suits Friends students for the work they make now and for the type of work they’ll make in the future. For information on specific exhibit dates and times please go to the fine & performing arts calendar
