Boys Varsity Lacrosse defeats Sts. Peter and Paul, 7-3

Boys Varsity Lacrosse on April 8, 2015 defeated Sts. Peter and Paul, 7-3, in an away conference game in Easton, MD. The Quakers dominated the field, winning 75 percent of ground balls. Sophomore Will Mortimer led the offense with 6 goals and an assist to senior Ted Kasper, who also scored. Patient and smart play by senior attackman Cole Hudson and midfielders Devon DeFilippi and Teagan Cook was key to the team’s success. The always-tough Quaker defense, led by juniors Finn Meagher, JD Rogers and John Herzog, and freshmen Ham Whiteford and Owen McManus, held the Sabres to only 3 goals. Junior goalie John Whiteford recorded 14 saves.
Friends on Friday, April 10, at 4 pm, will host Archbishop Curley in another important conference game. LET'S GO QUAKERS!
