Varsity Volleyball notches consecutive wins vs. Arundel Christian, Garrison Forest

Varsity Volleyball logged back-to-back 3-0 wins against Arundel Christian School, on Monday, Sept. 26, and Garrison Forest School, on Friday, Sept. 23. MVP Madison Moore ’17 controlled the offense during Monday’s game, serving for 29 points with 15 aces throughout the match. Highlights from Friday’s 25-10, 25-7 and 25-9 victory included Lulu Whitmore’s ’19 7 aces out of 19 error-free serves, and Maggie Giblin '17's 3 setter dumps for kills. Friday's defensive highlights included Madison Moore's 2 blocks for points and 3 block touches, and Sophia Hardesty-Meteyer '18's 5 digs. “We gave up very few unforced errors and our serving won us the game,” says coach Tyler Wideman. “Our communication and energy is looking great and is improving every day.”

The team will welcome Key School to the Quakerdome for a 5:30 pm match this Wednesday, Sept. 28. Come out and show your support!
