Quakes avenge loss to St. Timothy’s

Girls Varsity Volleyball won their Quarterfinal match vs. St. Timothy's, after losing to them earlier in the year.  On Tuesday, the volleyball squad traveled back to St.Timothy's for the IAAM Quarterfinals match; the Quakes were victorious with a score of 3-1 (25-16, 14-25, 25-17, 25-11).  
We started off the match with twelve aces and eight kills in the first set.  St. Timothy's fought back in the second set with eight aces of their own, while we struggled with unforced errors.  We turned it around in the 3rd set with the help of Hannah Goodenough ’19 who had six kills on nine swings and no hitting errors.  Grace Todd ‘18 and Lulu Whitmore ‘19 took control of the last set with a combined eleven aces which lead to an easy 25-11 win.
